The gems of FC Barcelona continue to flourish before even debuting for the first team. Courtesy of the way their academy and subsidiary operates, many Barça youngsters get opportunities from a young age. By showcasing their skills on a regular basis, even the Barcelona first team becomes a reality.

One player in particular who has many eyes on him thinking of him as the ‘next big thing’ is Guille Fernandez. Still aged just 15 years old, Fernandez is a midfield prospect who has excited many of those who follow the games of the Barcelona Juvenil sides.

As highlighted by SPORT, however, this particular midfield talent is a bit different from the typical Barcelona prospects. While he possesses the great technical abilities needed to succeed as a Blaugrana player, he combines that with great physicality, instinct, and attacking positioning.

Through the use of this dynamic blend of qualities, Guille Fernandez has been unstoppable in 2024. He has scored 9 goals in the last month of February alone, and they have come all across the board. From the Under-17 Spanish National team to both the Juvenil sides, he has been unstoppable.

With Spain, he scored a poker against Germany and added 4 goals to his tally. For Juvenil A, he has scored once in February, while for Barcelona Juvenil B he has added another 4 goals to his increasingly impressive tally. In fact, he has been almost unstoppable in 2024 as a whole thus far.

Beyond just this insane tally of goals he continues to score, he is still just a midfielder. That fact makes these numbers even more impressive, and given that he continues to create and provide assists for Barcelona as well, Guille Fernandez just continues to look like more and more of an unreal talent.

He has already trained under the orders of Xavi Hernandez this season, but his debut is yet to come with the Barcelona first team. However, with the way that things are progressing, it does not seem like it will take long until he realizes that dream as well and represents Barça at the highest level.
