La Masia is known for producing some of the most exquisite players FC Barcelona has ever known. The academy’s ability to develop and deliver extraordinarily-able individuals to the club remains unequaled. However, not all the graduates from the Barcelona academy are the same.

While there is a certain archetype that is seen as being the typical kind of talent Barcelona tends to favor, special anomalies pop up from time to time. Beyond just the typical technically gifted players who know the functionality of passing and playing at its very core, there are new kinds of prodigies made in the Barcelona academy as well.

One such prodigy is none other than Sama Nomoko, as highlighted by SPORT. Hailing from Mali, the 16-year-old right-winger is a player who has extreme physical abilities that allow him to play a rather destructively effective brand of football.

In fact, over the weekend, he has managed to provide two game-winning performances in two days consecutively. First, he appeared in a game for Cadet A, a team with whom he already has 10 goals and 8 assists this campaign, which he helped them win with an immense 6-0 victory.

In that victory, he had 2 goals and 2 assists to his name. With four out of the six goals having come as direct contributions from him, it is clear to understand why he is seen as such a promising starlet. Moreover, for almost eight seasons in a row, he has arguably been the Barcelona quarry’s fastest player.

Possessing speeds of great extremes, he is often referred to as a “Gazelle”. An animal known particularly well for its speed and elegance, Nomoko’s play style captures that perfectly. However, he is also extremely effective as a forward and not just a speed show.

The very next day, now appearing for Juvenil B as a consequence of their unfortunate injuries, he struck gold again. Facing Cornelia, SPORT highlights his last 28 minutes having been his most dangerous. Eventually, he scored a last-minute winner that helped Barcelona Juvenil B win 3-2 in that intense affair.

A player who has come up from various ranks and formats of the Barça system, he is one to keep an eye out for. Already well known as the Barcelona youngster with the most explosive set of abilities, his current trajectory could see him go on to accomplish great things.
