Previously, he had finally returned to training and recovering on the pitch. From cardio work to other forms of training exercises, Gavi had finally made a big step in his recovery. Now, however, it appears that he has made another massive leap that fills Barcelona up with hope.

For Gavi, the progress that he has made since injuring the Anterior Cruciate Ligament of his right leg has been commendable. While the club is focused on ensuring his full recovery at a gradual rate, they are not willing to take any risks at all with his return to the field.
This means that while the process is constant, it is not forced or done in haste. With a player as young and as promising as Gavi, it is no secret that Barcelona will do whatever it takes to help him find his best version again. Moreover, even for Hansi Flick, he will be a crucial figure.
