Without a shadow of a doubt, FC Barcelona wants to rebuild their dynasty on the foundations of youth. Just as they did in the past, La Blaugrana continues to have faith in their young pearls. However, primarily due to financial restrictions, even that objective has its complications for Barcelona.

Due to their ongoing issues with financial fair play, the kind that would translate into next season as well potentially, there are some uncertainties brewing within Barcelona. One of those uncertainties is the potential continuity of one of their brightest pearls as a part of their first team next season.

As highlighted by Mundo Deportivo, there is some confusion about the potential future of Vitor Roque at the club. The Brazilian striker, despite his inconsistent distribution of minutes, remains one of the absolute bets of Barcelona for the future, as proven by the price tag attached to his arrival.

However, because of the limitations imposed by financial fair play, the Brazilian may see his space in the squad next season be compromised. Previously, the primary factor that allowed Roque to be registered was the space left in the salary budget and transfer workings through the injury of Gavi.

Next season, however, unless Barcelona get their financial situation in order, Roque may end up being unregistered. In such an extreme scenario, it is being reported that Barcelona may have to let go of their young South American teenager in a potential loan deal.

This would give them time to assess the various routes they can take to register him again while also guaranteeing him minutes to continue developing. For Barcelona, it is a priority that Roque ends up making the most of his adaptation period before potentially taking on much bigger responsibilities.

However, it is also being stated that Barcelona remains certain about what their first priority is. To ensure that Vitor Roque ends up getting registered comes first and foremost for them, and only in the event that their objective fails would they look towards the possibility of a loan deal at all.
