Barcelona youngster Ansu Fati

Rumors continue to spiral and concern various players of FC Barcelona heading into the final few days of the summer transfer window, a period that is expected to be heavily occupying for the Catalan giants given their pending transfer operations and the conclusions yet to be provided to them.

While the operations towards potential arrivals continue to move smoothly and advance as expected, namely the negotiations for Manchester City and Portuguese fullback Joao Cancelo, other Barcelona priorities remain within the confinements of possible sales, something that has proven to be a much more arduous task.

Barcelona believe that a sale of significant value could aid in their pursuit of other transfer priorities that Xavi Hernandez has requested to be brought in to the club over the summer, and one player that Barcelona have considered for sale at various points remains 20-year-old forward Ansu Fati.

Moreover, in recent weeks, various reports have even suggested that there could be interest from Saudi Arabia that the Barcelona player himself is also potentially looking into.

However, these claims have been denied by Catalan outlet Esports 3, which states that the Barcelona forward has no intention of heading towards Saudi Arabia despite reports over the last few hours dictating that a transfer to the Middle East was quite possible.

Various claims were made that either due to economic reasons or simply by being surplus to sporting requirements Ansu Fati would be let go of this summer but the report in question states that reality is quite different for the Barcelona youngster.

Intent on staying at the club and proving his value to Xavi Hernandez, the player has under no circumstances requested for himself to be allowed to leave FC Barcelona.

Contracted to the Catalan giants until 2027, the 20-year-old La Masia graduate continues to have his intentions of staying reiterated as he believes that as long as those within Barcelona do not force him out and a change of heart is not experienced, he will continue to strive and work to gain Xavi’s trust, confidence and faith in the player’s abilities to use in his future plans.
