The constant echoes surrounding clubs like FC Barcelona never seem to fade away during the summer, as reports and rumors continue to circulate the various news portals and even online forums linking the Catalan club to different talents.
At times, it works the other way around as well, linking several other entities to players already within the Barcelona squad that are either out of favor or at a complicated point in their respective careers.
Other times, even the very best of players get lunged into reports and rumors linking them to moves away from the Catalan capital, and it seems that yet another Barcelona youngster may be set to become a victim of it.
According to Spanish journalist Javi Miguel, 20-year-old Barcelona talent Ansu Fati could be set to follow in ‘Dembele’s’ footsteps and be on his way out of the club if the right conditions line up.
As per the Spanish journalist, it is an open operation and one that is considered by the club to be a positive step from the perspective of an economic standpoint.
Through his departure, if it indeed takes place, Barcelona could generate adequate funds and create enough space within financial fair play to assess the signings of both Bernardo Silva and Juan Foyth if that turns out to be the duo the Catalan club pursues.
Moreover, it would create such a massive opportunity for Barcelona that they would in addition also have the economic means and space within their financial allocations to be able to integrate the arrival of 18-year-old Brazilian talent Vitor Roque this season as well.
It is yet to be seen exactly what shape a possible departure takes according to the words of Javi Miguel, but Barcelona will possibly remain attentive to any offers or interest shown by other European and non-European clubs towards their 20-year-old La Masia products.
