FC Barcelona must make certain decisions over the course of the upcoming summer transfer window keeping in mind their current economic situation and certain sacrifices that come alongside. However, there also exist other reasons at times.

Barcelona youngster and former Racing Santander star Pablo Torre, a 20-year-old player who primarily operates as an interior central midfielder or an attacking midfielder, is garnering the attention of various clubs amidst his ongoing situation within the team dynamics. The player is struggling to fit in with the rest of the squad in terms of importance and the consequences are now being brought to light.

During his first season at the club, the youngster was not afforded too many minutes under Xavi Hernández. The player was consequently made to play with Barca Atletic to get some game time, and was even involved in “bad habits” as per various reports.

Despite promising performances at times, a particular one being his recent game against Vissel Kobe in a friendly where he provided two assists in a 3-0 victory, the player still has not been able to convince the coaching staff.

As per Diario AS, the young Barcelona midfielder may be moving to La Liga side Villarreal CF over the course of the summer transfer window on a potential loan deal as Quique Setien, former Barcelona manager and current head coach of the Yellow Submarine, believes the player to be special and is “in love” with his game.

FC Barcelona are now looking to loan the youngster to a top side so that he gets quality game time against quality opposition, and Villarreal seems like a very solid option. Continuing in La Liga itself, the player will undoubtedly become more accustomed to the top Division of Spanish football and the club hopes, should he leave, that he returns as an improved player.
