While his future is not certain to be at the Catalan club, he is still looking to convince Xavi to get an important role in the squad.
The player had an important season at Osasuna last year, where he started sixteen matches in La Liga and scored four goals. However, his performances were more than just numbers, as he stood out with his personality, dribbling ability, technique, and ability to take matches by the scruff of the neck.
The player also won the U-23 African Cup during the summer with Morocco, where he was the tournament’s best performer and top scorer.
According to SPORT, Abde has received some offers since returning back to Barcelona, but no decision has yet been taken regarding his future. As he remains with the Barcelona squad, Xavi has decided to take him with the team to the USA, where Abde will get opportunities to impress.
Still, the Moroccan knows that the club is in a dire economic situation, and as he is one of the players with good market value, he will have to leave if a good offer comes in for him.
However, the tour to the USA would be a decisive point for his FC Barcelona career, as this is one of the opportunities he will get to impress Xavi and remain at Barcelona for the coming seasons.
He will undergo the medical tests on Tuesday along with the rest of his Barcelona teammates who will join after their vacations. On Wednesday, Abde will leave with the team for the United States, where he will be looking to continue his good run of form.
