The Spaniard has also scored some key goals in the Champions League, particularly against Porto, Shakhtar, and Antwerp.
In La Liga, his most influential goal came against Villarreal, which put the team ahead 3-2. Oriol Romeu praised the winger after the match last night, and it looks likely that Xavi will continue to retain Torres in the starting lineup for the coming weeks.
