The game against Getafe CF was one to forget for FC Barcelona as they were unable to score against the Madrid-based outfit at the Coliseum Alfonso Perez for the third time in a row and only managed to come away with a singular point from a goalless draw against the team led by Jose Bordalas.

Most of the takeaways from the game are such that Barcelona would possibly not look back at fondly. The red cards in particular to both Brazilian winger Raphinha and Barcelona head coach Xavi Hernandez are two of the most memorable incidents from within the game.

However, some players from within the game were truly a joy to watch and could leave the end of the match with their heads held up high due to their performances. One such player was French central defender Jules Kounde, who has consequently merited a great mention.

As per the La Liga Team of the Week decided by WhoScored, the 24-year-old Barcelona defender makes the final eleven of players that make it to the best players from Matchday 1 of La Liga EA Sports.

The Frenchman ends up being the only Barcelona player in the entire eleven and does so due to his exceptional ball-playing qualities at display alongside his rigid defensive work against Getafe to keep the opposition at bay and start off the campaign with a clean sheet nonetheless.

Apart from the Barcelona defender, other clubs that have players representing them within the final Team of the Week include Real Madrid (3), Rayo Vallecano (2), Valencia (2), Villarreal (1), and CA Osasuna (1).

Keeping this good form intact, Kounde will still be hoping to continue the good defensive work coupled with his team ensuring goals in the next outing against Cadiz at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys to guarantee the three points next time out.
