Barcelona can rest assured that their desired arrivals will continue to line up as the recent announcement of Vitor Roque adds even more punch to an already potent Barcelona side. However, there are other complications that the Catalan club must also look to sort out.
One such pressing matter remains the problem of sales and offloading unwanted players to save up on their subsequently unwanted wages and salaries. The continued pressure of financial fair play and other economic restrictions force Barcelona into a position where unpleasant decisions must be made.
However, among the many that Barcelona would ideally offload as soon as possible, there is one particular star that continues to garner interest from both within Europe as well as from outside of the continent.
According to Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona and Ivorian midfielder Franck Kessie has another interested club now piled upon the pre-existing interest he continues to court with Saudi Arabian side Al-Ahli, with this new interest coming from Juventus of the Italian Serie A.
Juventus believe, with the particular approval of head coach Massimiliano Allegri, that they provide Kessie the right environment as well as the right importance within their side to compete on a regular basis.
The possible loss of Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba could become more and more imminent as time passes, resulting in a massive void that the Old Lady must fix, and they believe Kessie could be the answer.
Moreover, the player reportedly is not as thrilled about going off to Saudi Arabia as most others have been in recent times. His preference would still be to remain in Europe, and the idea of returning to the Serie A could potentially excite him, given that he has already spent close to 6 years of his professional career there and remains much revered in the Italian country.
At the moment, the player has already discussed his future privately with Xavi Hernandez, with the Barcelona manager not disclosing the details of their conversation. While Barcelona look to ideally sell the 26-year-old, Juventus are more keen on a loan move, causing differences in their best interests for themselves respectively.
And while there are definitely other options on the table for Allegri to reinforce the midfield, the Juventus manager considers Kessie to be his favorite choice out of them, with the Barcelona midfielder thought to be the ideal candidate for the head coach based on his strength and various qualities.
