Amrabat rose to prominence in this year’s FIFA World Cup, where he played an important role in taking his underdog Morocco team to the semi-finals. Since then, FC Barcelona have been attentive to his situation and also wanted to sign him in the winter window.
The move could not materialize in that window because of a number of reasons, but as the summer transfer window approaches, the club could again try to sign him, and the Moroccan midfielder himself is ready to join the Blaugranes.
