FC Barcelona were able to continue their winning run and momentum in La Liga even after the September international break, as they got three wins against Girona, Villarreal, and Getafe.
Now, the various national teams are already preparing for the next break, and the Brazilian national team, among others, is scheduled to publish the list of the players that will be called up for their fixtures during this break tomorrow.
As SPORT has noted, one of the main expected changes in this list will be the inclusion of Raphinha, who was not called up by Dorival Junior in the last international break. He was suspended for one of the matches in the September break, and the Brazilian head coach decided not to make him travel across the Atlantic for only a single game.
But now, Raphinha is expected to play for his national side in the upcoming World Cup qualifier match against Chile in Santiago, and also against Peru in Brasilia. The Brazilian team will be looking to add the full six points in these last two qualification matches, as they are currently placed sixth, and a place in the World Cup is not guaranteed for them.
Thus, this will be the first time that Raphinha is called up by Brazil since the last Copa America. But the winger will be joining his national team camp in spectacular form, as he already has five goals and two assists to his name in the first seven La Liga games.
Along with Lamine Yamal and Lewandowski, he is currently one of the most in-form players in the Blaugrana squad. Hopefully, he will be able to perform at this same level with his national team in this upcoming break, and also return to Barcelona without any physical problems so he can continue performing at his best level for both his teams.
