FC Barcelona and Real Madrid have always been considered as the two clubs most perceive as the epitome of any young star’s footballing dream. Whether it be due to their dazzling trophy cabinets or the global stars that have donned their jerseys, the immortalized Clasico rivals have always spearheaded European football.

In the most recent of market values updates by Transfermarkt, whose global player valuations are considered to be quite accurate in real-time parallels, it is no surprise to see that the biggest improvements in terms of market value for La Liga players consist mainly of players linked to either Barcelona or Real Madrid.

As pointed out by Mundo Deportivo, the following are the ten players who have seen the biggest improvements in their market values:

Vinicius Junior (Real Madrid)

The Brazilian superstar from Real Madrid is the player who has seen the greatest rise in market value following his spectacular 2022/2023 season, having risen to a personal best of €150 million from his previous valuation of €100 million.

Alejandro Balde (FC Barcelona)

Alejandro Balde is a young talent who recently just had his full first season at FC Barcelona and became a breakout star within that period of time. His previous value of only €4 million has skyrocketed to €50 million courtesy of his great season both individually and collectively with the club, winning La Liga and the Spanish Super Cup.

Rodrygo (Real Madrid)

Yet another Brazilian from Real Madrid who continues to etch his name into European history, the youngster has proven to be a clutch player for Los Blancos time and time again. His value rises from €60 million to €100 million.

Federico Valverde (Real Madrid)

South American dominance continues for Real Madrid, as midfield star and Uruguayan international Federico Valverde also makes his way onto the list. His value has risen from €70 million to €100 million.

Gavi (FC Barcelona)

Barcelona’s most recent winner when it comes to the prestigious Golden Boy award, the young prodigy has seen his value rise from a previous all-time best of €60 million to even greater heights at €90 million.

Eduardo Camavinga (Real Madrid)

The French midfielder for Madrid sees his value rise from €55 million to €85 million following his impressive season for Madrid, despite even having had to play as a fullback on various occasions.

Ousmane Dembele (FC Barcelona)

The electric winger has seen a surge in performance quality as well as his overall form under Xavi Hernandez and continues to be a more consistent version of himself than ever before. His value got doubled from €30 million to now €60 million.

Nicolas Jackson (Villareal)

The Villarreal striker has had a strong season for the yellow submarines and even finished as their individual top scorer. He sees his value rise from a mere €1 million to a much more respectable €30 million.

Gabri Vega (Celta Vigo)

A central midfielder for Celta Vigo, the young Spaniard has been instrumental for the side this season in aiding them to avoid relegation and even managed to score a brace against Barcelona. His value rises from €1.5 million to €30 million.

Aurelien Tchouameni (Real Madrid)

Real’s second French player to make the list, the defensive midfielder sees his own value rise thanks to a commendable season with both Real Madrid and his contributions to the French National team. His value increases from €60 million to €85 million.
