Barcelona send scout to observe Four players during Morocco-Brazil friendly

Morocco and Brazil, are set to face off in a friendly match on Saturday night. Despite being a friendly match, this encounter promises to be an exciting affair for La Blaugrana and will provide answers regarding their summer quests with the involvement of a number of players attracting interest from FC Barcelona.

According to recent reports from Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona have a “spy”, or scout of sorts, waiting to take part and blend in amongst the crowd for the game at the Ibn Batouta Stadium. This spy has been tasked with keeping tabs on four players in particular, three that Barcelona already have general access to, and one that the Catalans are attempting to bring to the club.

Vitor Roque: A Summer Target

The primary target is going to be Vitor Roque, the 18-year-old Brazilian forward who is expected to become the second youngest player ever to make his debut for Brazilian National Team. A player that the Catalans have already thoroughly scouted and come to like, they continue to monitor him simultaneously as they attempt to sort out the financial fair play issues that are becoming a hurdle in his potential signing.

Abde Ezzalzouli: A Return to Barcelona

Other targets include Barcelona winger Abde Ezzalzouli, currently on loan at CA Osasuna, who will also be assessed during this game to check his current levels. Regarding his future, Barcelona have already decided that his caliber is of a high enough quality to be given more chances with the first team on the basis of his great season with Osasuna thus far. He will be recalled by the Blaugrane outfit in the summer and will be included in the pre-season tour of the United States and his level within the side will also be assessed at that point.

Sofyan Amrabat: A Midfield Option

Another player Barcelona remain interested in is Moroccan and Fiorentina defensive midfielder Sofyan Amrabat, who was close to signing with the Catalans in the recent winter transfer window but the operation could not materialize despite the player’s strong will to join the Catalans.

Should the Catalans once again be willing to pursue him, he would attempt along with the Blaugrana to negotiate a low fee for his departure given that his contract comes to an end in 2024.

Chad Riad: A Promising Youngster

Lastly, Barca Atletic center-back Chadi Riyadh will also be kept an eye on. The 19-year-old has impressed within the subsidiary and his talent has not gone unnoticed by the first-team staff. His possible participation in this game will allow Barcelona to analyze just how capable he is in being able to perform on this much higher level against a world-class opposition such as the Brazilian national team.

The Morocco-Brazil friendly is a perfect opportunity for the Catalan giants to closely monitor some of their potential targets in a high-voltage game ahead of the summer transfer window to strengthen their squad.
