FC Barcelona come home from Madrid with just a 0-0 draw to their name against the resilient Getafe. Lackluster and massively frustrating to watch at times, the Barcelona team seemed a shadow of their typically brilliant self that they have shown themselves to be this season.

Marc Andre Ter Stegen: 6.5
The German international did not have much to endure during the game, as both Getafe had wayward efforts gone astray even on solid goal-scoring opportunities and Barcelona’s defense ensured their number one had less to worry about.
Sergi Roberto: N/A
Injured and taken off early in the first half.
Ronald Araujo: 7.5
The Uruguayan was arguably Barcelona’s most prominent performer in the match, with him singlehandedly not just commandeering the defense at times but also taking the ball upfield and creating havoc as a potential offensive threat. A complete player in multiple regards.
Jules Kounde: 7.0
Held his ground alongside Araujo and ensured he minimized even a whiff of air to the Getafe forwards. His technical ability and awareness to reduce offensive opportunities for the opposition were on full display.
Jordi Alba: 7.0
The veteran had a dull opening to the game and was clearly struggling to connect with young Balde on the same left wing. Did, however, as he typically does, create some decent opportunities during the game, some of which his teammates really should have better capitalized upon.
Sergio Busquets: 7.5
The captain for FC Barcelona may not have had his most memorable night, but on an individual level, he had a solid outing. Connecting flanks and providing some line-breaking passes in between the compact Getafe setup, he was too much at times for the Madrid-based opposition.
Franck Kessie: 6.0
A rather lackluster performance this time around from the Ivorian, who seemed out of sorts at times. The lack of passes made as well as a lack of intensity at times really overshadowed any moments of good quality.
Gavi: 6.5
The youngster typically provides tenacity but remains just as capable at times of showing immaturity. A booking early on for a needless challenge on Enes Unal encompassed the rather mediocre and frustrating performance that the young Spaniard would go on to have.
Alejandro Balde: 6.0
Frustratingly invisible and uninvolved in the buildup as a forward, the youngster even managed to miss out a golden opportunity to put Barcelona in the lead through a chance in an open goal. A match to forget for the Spaniard.
Robert Lewandowski: 7.0
Had his fair slew of chances that he arguably should have done better off. His biggest contribution however remains the dummy from him that allowed Raphinha an open chance against Getafe goalkeeper David Soria, but the Brazilian, unfortunately, could not capitalize.
Raphinha: 7.5
The Brazilian was both brilliant and frustrating throughout this clash. Provided good runs off the ball and managed to test Soria on a handful of occasions. However, he missed Barcelona’s primary golden chance of the game that should have been in the back of the net. Needs improvement in terms of his clinicality in front of goal.
Substitutes:
Eric Garcia: 5.5
Brought on early for the injured Sergi Roberto, and managed to make a cagey game into a nervy one for the Catalans. Hesitant and slow to react while defending, it was a mediocre performance from the young Spaniard.
Ansu Fati: 5.5
Had creative ideas but seemed too one-dimensional at times and did things in an overcomplicated fashion at other times.
