Among the onslaught of reports for FC Barcelona emerging in regards to various out-of-favor players or simply those that the Catalan giants deem to be surplus to requirements, a variety of talents have been labeled as potential candidates to depart from Barcelona this summer.

Within these talents, the likes of Marcos Alonso, Eric Garcia, and Clement Lenglet are all prominent names to feature. Alongside them, the name of 21-year-old Moroccan winger Ez Abde is another who Barcelona could potentially consider offloading if a significant enough offer for him arrives.

Coincidentally, such an offer has reportedly arrived from the Middle Eastern country of Saudi Arabia, with Gerard Romero via Jijantes FC claiming the value of said offer to have been in the region of somewhere between €15-20 million.

However, the player has reportedly already rejected the offer as he does not wish to depart for Saudi Arabia. Further details provided by the source in question also claim that the Moroccan winger was offered a salary around the region of €13 million, which would have been a significant increase over his current salary in FC Barcelona.

Instead, looking back at previous revelations, it appears that the 21-year-old Barcelona winger is more likely to leave for a side still competing in a European league such as other La Liga sides or those from the Premier League or even others.

The recent emergence of Abde as a saleable asset is likely in part due to the participation and excellence of 16-year-old Lamine Yamal.

Previously considered the rightful heir to the departed French winger Ousmane Dembele, Abde was originally reported to have been likely to stay at the club this season with reports even suggesting Barcelona and Xavi to be absolute in their decision to retain the 21-year-old.

However, due to Yamal’s meteoric rise and his efficiency on the pitch, Abde has lost his ground and failed to be called up for significant action even as Brazilian winger Raphinha was suspended. As a consequence, it is likely that both the player and FC Barcelona have come to the realization that adequate minutes will not be a guarantee for the Moroccan this season after all.
