21-year-old Barcelona winger not taking part in first-team training with club’s permission

The final operations for FC Barcelona before the conclusion of the summer transfer window are set to soon find their respective finalizations in the coming hours. The Catalan giants will need to ensure they remain consistent and sharp within these few hours as a result.

One of the most advanced transfer ordeals remains that of 21-year-old Moroccan winger Ez Abde, whose departure from Barcelona seems rather imminent at this point. With interest from various clubs looming over for his signature, there seems to be definite evidence of a deal soon coming to fruition.

According to Spanish journalist Helena Condis, the Moroccan winger is currently not training with the FC Barcelona first team and is at a hotel waiting for his future to be sorted out. The club has granted him permission to not train with Xavi’s squad today.

The player has received prominent interest from the likes of Real Betis, as well as CA Osasuna from La Liga. Moreover, recent reports have emerged stating that the winger has also attracted interest from Premier League sides Nottingham Forest and Wolverhampton Wanderers.

However, it seems that the most advanced negotiations currently ongoing are those with Real Betis, whose project seems to attract Abde the most and simultaneously offers him regular minutes within the Spanish first division, something FC Barcelona is unable to guarantee at this point in time due to the abundance of talent already present within their ranks.

Barcelona have also reportedly reached an agreement with Betis that suggests that the Andalusian club will pay up €10 million to take over 50% of the player’s ownership moving forward as the final details of the overall operation will also soon come to light in the coming hours.
