Felix is also shining with his national side, Portugal, and put in a good shift in his last match against Bosnia. He scored the fifth goal of the match, which ended 5-0 in favor of the Iberian team.
Joao Felix receives an award in Portugal
According to SPORT, the forward has won an award in Portugal with his impressive performances in the last few months. He was handed the ‘Talento que Marca o Mundo’ (Talent that Makes the World) award for September, which is given by representatives of the Portuguese league.
Felix also spoke to the media at this event, and showed his delight at winning this award:
“It’s a source of pride; it means that the work is paying off. It’s a way to show that they are paying attention to my efforts, and I’m happy to receive this award.”
Adaptation at Barcelona
Another topic that he touched upon was his move to Barcelona and adapting to his new club. In this regard, Felix commented:
“It’s been super easy. It’s an incredible club, and the people here are very dedicated. I still follow the Portuguese League, especially Benfica when I can, but I also watch other matches.”
Felix has been in very good form, and this latest award is a well-deserved recognition of his performances on the pitch. Felix has participated in six matches for Portugal this year and has scored three goals and given an assist for his national team.
He has also been shining for Barcelona, having scored one goal and given two assists in La Liga, and having another two goals and one assist in the Champions League.
