The assets possessed by FC Barcelona continue to be enticing for a lot of others. While La Blaugrana themselves may be in debt, there is simply no denying the pearls and gems they possess. Many of these talented Barcelona players also have many suitors, irrespective of form.

Yet, given their financial issues and limitations, the Catalan club is aware that some sales may need to be made. For instance, this upcoming summer window could see Barcelona make some very unwanted sales in order to recoup some finances that would allow them to reinvest and revamp their squad.

Moreover, all the way over in England, there may just be a team interested in helping Barcelona out. It just so happens that Liverpool are currently going through a phase of uncertainty surrounding the future of their star winger Mohamed Salah.

In case he ends up leaving this summer, the Reds from Merseyside have two Barcelona players in mind to replace him. According to SPORT, Liverpool would be interested in possibly signing two of Barça’s wingers.

One of those wingers is Brazilian forward Raphinha, who is currently a player for FC Barcelona under Xavi’s orders and formerly from Leeds United. The other player is Ansu Fati, who is currently on loan in the Premier League playing for Brighton.

In Raphinha’s case, Liverpool see a player already proven in the Premier League. Moreover, they are not the only team from England interested in his signature. Tottenham Hotspur, as per SPORT, already have a €70 million offer ready and waiting to be accepted.

Fati, on the other hand, is a player whose progression is not too linear or consistent. While he did regain some semblance of his best self at Brighton temporarily, an untimely injury put an unfortunate stop to his progression. However, now that he has returned, The Reds are willing to wait and check his development.

For Barcelona, neither of the two wingers in question are guarantees. With the need to sell being higher than ever for the Catalan club, they could just consider letting both leave in the summer. However, at least with Fati, there is still some doubt in Liverpool’s mind about whether or not Barça are willing to let him go too easily.
