Few things give FC Barcelona more joy than to see their star players become available again. Last season was particularly hard in this aspect, given that constant injuries saw Barça be consistently depleted in terms of numbers. Fortunately, everything seems to be on track for Barcelona to start this season with most players available.

While injuries to some key players continue to haunt the club, the reality is that they must make do with what they have. At the moment, beyond just the injured players, Barcelona also have to worry about their transfer planning which is hardly going as per their wishes.

Dani Olmo remains in wait as Barça try to get a solution settled with RB Leipzig, but that operation is proving to be a headache of its own. On the bright side, however, while Barcelona may not be welcoming a new signing just yet, they have welcomed back three very crucial players just today.

As highlighted by Mundo Deportivo, three key Barcelona players have just ended their vacation following their European Championship triumph and have just returned to the Ciutat Esportiva. Those three players are none other than Lamine Yamal, Ferran Torres, and the currently recovering Pedri.

The first two Spaniards, who also happen to both be forwards, come back in good shape. They do not have any lingering injuries that the club needs to worry about and it seems that they will be ready to welcome back the squad that is currently in the United States of America and will get to kick off the new season with them.

Pedri, on the other hand, is still in recovery but there is hope within the club that he can be back in time for the new season and could even help the team in their La Liga opener against Valencia. That would be the ideal scenario, but it is understandable if Barcelona decide to be a bit more cautious.

All three players have now returned to the club facilities following their triumph with the Spanish National team, and that adds three more crucial players to Hansi Flick’s squad. They are expected to undergo their medical examinations soon and take part in their first training session following their vacations.

However, there are still some stars such as Gavi, Frenkie De Jong, and Ronald Araujo who still need some more time to recover it seems. Until they make their return, the Barça squad still remains incomplete in terms of their full depth for the new season.
