FC Barcelona recently achieved another victory in La Liga, this time against an opponent competing in the Champions League as well. Against Michel’s team, Hansi Flick’s side managed to get a victory that was thoroughly convincing. However, this victory for Barcelona also brought forth several interesting stories.

One of those was the celebration that caught many eyes after Barcelona scored their fourth goal. This particular gesture saw Pedri and Hansi Flick embrace each other and the reason behind that joyous occurrence was also revealed by the coach after the game.

However, as highlighted by SPORT, there was another gesture that also managed to gain some attention. This one, however, was seen being an interaction between Lamine Yamal and fellow Barcelona teammates over a play made by Hector Fort.

During the game, Hector Fort had taken a long-range effort that went way off target, and it was so surprising that even Polish ace Robert Lewandowski ended up being perplexed.

With Barcelona already in a good position by then, leading by four goals, it was hardly a harmful attempt by any means ultimately. However, since it was a rather haphazard attempt that Lewandowski believed could have served its purpose much better as a pass or assist to him, it makes sense why he was initially frustrated.

However, near the end of the game, Lamine Yamal approached Lewandowski on the bench after being subbed and made the ‘smoking’ gesture and jokingly reminded the Polish ace of that rather bad attempt that even elicited laughter from his other teammates on the bench, including Dani Olmo and Sergi Domínguez.

After the conclusion of the game, Yamal also approached Fort and reenacted the puff gesture, which Fort received in good spirits as well.

Ultimately, however, those frustrations turned to laughter thanks to the gesture made by Lamine Yamal. In a way, these little incidents continue to showcase exactly what the young 17-year-old winger brings to this team beyond just the goals and the amazing football he plays, and that of course is the ability to connect and unite Hansi Flick’s team.
