Now, however, the reliance is on a complete team rather than a singular difference-maker. Fortunately for Barcelona, this team is one that is not built around one particular superstar but an entire plethora of talented players who are willing to devote every ounce of their energy into making life difficult for their opponents.
Furthermore, this is only the fifth time since the beginning of the 21st century that Barcelona have won all five of their opening five fixtures in a La Liga campaign. On all previous occasions barring one, Barcelona also ended up winning the La Liga title at the end of the season.
While the campaign is still far from over, the Catalan giants could not have wished for a better start to life in the official campaign. Despite their injury woes and initial registration problems, Barcelona and Hansi Flick continue to head straight on with all the momentum that they could want.
