Both FC Barcelona and Bayern Munich will be keenly looking ahead to their upcoming clash on matchday 3 of the League Phase of the UEFA Champions League.

However, both teams will be without some of their important players. Barcelona will not be able to count upon the likes of Marc Andre Ter Stegen, Ronald Araujo, Marc Bernal, Ferran Torres, and Andreas Christensen.

Bayern Munich, on the other hand, will also have important players like Aleksander Pavlovic, Hiroki Ito, Sacha Boey, and Josip Stanisic.

However, there has been some good news for the Bavarians on the injury front ahead of their match against Barcelona. As Mundo Deportivo has reported, Bayern have recovered one of their key forwards, Jamal Musiala, in record time, ahead of the blockbuster game against the Blaugranes.

The German playmaker trained with his teammates for the first time since his hip injury, which he suffered on 2nd October during the UCL match against Aston Villa, on Monday. The attacking midfielder had been working alone since the last week, but joined his teammates and put him under the command of Vincent Kompany on Monday.

If there are no setbacks in the coming days, the Bayern midfield star will continue to increase his workload, with the specific aim of getting back in shape for the match against Barcelona.

With this hip injury, Musiala has not been able to play for the Bavarians in their last two league games, against Eintracht Frankfurt and Stuttgart.

But while he has returned to training with his teammates, Kompany is not going to take any hasty decisions with him and will decide on Wednesday whether the star playmaker will make an appearance against Barcelona. But as things stand, Musiala can participate in this game from the very start.

Musiala’s return will definitely be a boost for Bayern Munich ahead of such an important game, but it remains to be seen whether he will be able to actually feature in this game.
