Al-Nassr eyeing summer swoop for Barcelona-linked midfield veteran

According to recent reports from SPORT, Al-Nassr appears to have their sights set on another European soccer star rather than just trying to seal the signing of Cristiano Ronaldo, who will reportedly sign an extremely outrageous contract.

N’Golo Kanté is a player that Barcelona have in their portfolio and plan to sign as a free agent in the summer of 2023.

Kanté missed the most recent World Cup in Qatar with his national squad as he is still recovering from a hamstring condition that required surgery. He hasn’t played since August when he was among the best on the planet at his position. Barcelona and Chelsea are awaiting the player’s decision while Al-Nassr hope to lure him with a lucrative contract.

It’s also a possibility that the player will extend his contract with Chelsea. Though it should be mentioned that Al-Nassr can only have seven non-EU players as per Saudi league rules, and presently they have eight non-EU players.
