Brazil never stops producing footballing talents, and some of the biggest names to come out of Brazil have played for FC Barcelona. Players like Ronaldo Nazario, Ronaldinho, and Rivaldo have all represented the Catalan club during their careers.
Now FC Barcelona have got their hands on another up-and-coming Brazilian talent in the form of Vitor Roque, who has already signed a contract with Barcelona but is yet to join the Catalan club.
Another rising Brazilian, Endrick, has signed for Real Madrid, and the two are expected to create a highly compelling rivalry in the future.
Girona forward on Brazilian duo
Before these two young gems come to Spain, another exciting Brazilian is already playing in La Liga with Girona. This is Sávio, who has nothing short been of a revelation this season and has contributed significantly to Girona’s strong performance in La Liga.
Sávio was asked about the up-and-coming Brazilian gems in an interview, which has been reported by SPORT. The Girona forward was asked if he has any advice for these youngsters, to which he responded:
“I wouldn’t give them any advice because they are both top-notch. They are going to be my rivals. They are two great players. I even tell Girona’s players, when they ask me if those two are good: ‘You’ll see when they arrive here.'”
Upcoming Rivalry in Spain
Further commenting on their coming rivalry, Savinho said:
“They are two great players who are going to learn a lot, one at Barcelona and the other at Real Madrid, and they are going to score many goals, for sure.”
While he has been full of praise for Roque and Endrick, Savinho himself has been shining in Spain, and there were reports of Barcelona also trying to sign him before his move to Girona.
However, the move could not be finalized, but the Catalans can now observe him from close quarters as he is now at a club also playing in Catalonia.
