Barcelona announce squad for the match against Atetico Madrid

Barcelona head coach Xavi Hernández has called up 21 players for the upcoming league game against Diego Simeone’s Atletico Madrid. La Blaugrana will welcome Los Colchoneros at Camp Nou on Sunday evening on the 30th matchday of their La Liga campaign.

The Catalan giants will take on the Madrid-based club with the aim of claiming all 3 points and further strengthening their claim to the title as they continue on their hunt for their 27th league title.

Xavi’s side will be bolstered by the much-awaited return of both Pedri Gonzalez and Frenkie De Jong, who have been vital in the Catalan Club’s title charge this season. The squad list also sees the inclusion of Lamine Yamal, the 15-year-old winger from the U-19 side, who is widely touted as one of the finest young talents in world football.
