Barcelona announce squad for the match against Real Sociedad

FC Barcelona head coach Xavi Hernández has called up 19 players for the upcoming league game against Imanol Alguacil’s Real Sociedad. The Catalan giants will welcome the Basque club on Saturday night at Spotify Camp Nou on the 35th matchday of the 2022-2023 La Liga campaign.

The Catalans have now officially won the league after mathematically securing the title with the 4-2 beating of Espanyol last weekend. Given the game was played at Cornellá, the trophy will be handed out after tomorrow’s game at Camp Nou.

Out of the protagonists of La Blaugrana, Pedri González, and Ronald Araújo are missing from the squad due to minor discomforts, while Gavi is suspended after picking up another yellow card in the Espanyol match.
