FC Barcelona have signed a truly exciting player this summer in the form of Vitor Roque. The Brazilian has not arrived at the Catalan capital yet, but Blaugrana fans will still be happy to see such an exhilarating player signed by the club, who can be the club’s focal point in attack for years to come.

After having settled his future with signing for FC Barcelona, Vitor Roque himself is helping his current team, Athletico Paranaense, for the rest of the time that he is going to remain there. He still remains the best player in the Brazilian club’s squad.

Roque scores another amazing goal in Brazil

It is not only the Athletico Paranaense squad, but Vitor Roque is also currently one of the best, if not the best, players playing in Brazil. This status of the Brazilian was further cemented in his latest appearance in the Brazilian Serie A.

As Mundo Deportivo has reported, Vitor Roque and Athletico Paranaense were facing Goias in their last Serie A match, whose brightest highlight was the goal scored by the Barcelona-bound striker. The goal came at the 39th minute of the match, when the score was still 0-0.

Roque received that ball near the left line of the pitch, and used the space left empty by Goias defenders to dribble nearer to the goal. When he reached the twenty yards box, he still had several defenders and the goalkeeper between him and the goal. However, the youngster let off a thunderous shot from near the edge of the box that beat everyone and ended up in the Goias net.

Roque continuing his form prior to Barcelona move

As already mentioned, Barcelona have already secured the signing of Vitor Roque this summer, but he will probably arrive at the Catalan club only in the upcoming winter window. Meanwhile, he has not let off his steam in Brazil as he continues on his amazing scoring form. The player has stood out in the last few months with such performances as he put in his last match.

Thus, FC Barcelona will be really happy with the investment they have made in the youngster, despite the player having played only in Brazil yet. The Catalans have paid €30 million for him, and can pay a further €31 million in variables, if the player meets the milestones set in his contract.
