Despite their recent deal with Nike, FC Barcelona will still need to generate as many funds as possible to be able to make their desired signings in the upcoming transfer windows.

For this purpose, one of the avenues open for the Blaugranes is the completion of the sale of Barca Studios to interested investors. Another source of potential income would be the sales of some of their important players who have not been playing at their best level this season.

Yet another way that Barcelona can see some funds ending up in their coffers is by the sales of players on whom they have a sell-on clause.

One such player who is currently in high demand is Sporting CP forward Francisco Trincao, who is one of the most notable partners for another in-demand forward, Viktor Gyokeres.

According to Mundo Deportivo, his performances with the Portuguese side have sparked the interest of several big clubs across Europe, and his high market demand can significantly benefit Barcelona as the Blaugranes have a €20 million buy-back clause on the winger and also have the right to keep 50% of the proceeds obtained from a future transfer.

Reports from the Portuguese media recently indicated that scouts from big European sides like Bayern Munich and Manchester City are keeping tabs on Trincao.

Barcelona initially signed the Portuguese winger for €31 million before loaning him to Wolverhampton Wanderers for a €6 million fee. Later, they sold him to Sporting CP for €10 million, where he has regained his form and is now performing at a high level.

The Blaugrana now have the option to re-sign him for €20 million. They could either sell him for a profit or allow him to transfer directly from Sporting to another club, securing 50% of the transfer fee from the buying club. It will be interesting to see how this situation unfolds.
