Barcelona expecting a €50 million offer from a Premier League club for young winger

Barcelona winger Ansu Fati

FC Barcelona have successfully generated some much-needed funds with the sales of Franck Kessie and Ousmane Dembele in the last few days. However, more sales are needed by the club in the coming days.

One of the players who can be the subject of news related to a departure from the club is the youngster Ansu Fati. According to SPORT, Barcelona know that a Premier League side is going to make an offer of around €50 million for the player, and the Catalans will be willing to accept such an offer.

However, the player himself is not too keen on a move, despite knowing that he would not be a starter in Xavi’s squad. The attacking line is going to be highly competitive with players like Ferran Torres, Raphinha, Abde, and Fati all competing for a single spot, as the other forward spot will be taken by Lewandowski.

From among these players, Torres has received a loan offer from Aston Villa, while Raphinha had an offer from a Saudi club. However, these two players also want to remain at Barcelona, and have ruled out these transfers.

Still, Barcelona need to sell another player in order to get the two more players that they have been intending to sign in the remaining part of the summer transfer window. Furthermore, the club also needs funds to register the remaining contracts with La Liga.

Fati’s first priority is to remain at Barcelona, but he is getting a bit fed up with being constantly linked to a move away from the club.

He previously refused a move to Wolverhampton Wanderers for Ruben Neves, despite the insistence of his agent, Jorge Mendes, towards such a move.

Mendes does not want to force anything on Fati, but if he is not going to get minutes at Barcelona, he will try to get him to another club.
