FC Barcelona are quite well renowned for manufacturing some of the most elite young talents across Europe throughout their storied years with their academy, La Masia. Yet, just because they themselves have produced some of the brightest gems, does not mean they do not scout for such selected jewels across other academies as well.
In the most recent developments, reports from SPORT suggest FC Barcelona are currently keeping tabs and inquiries over a certain Borussia Dortmund academy player. The player in question is 17-year-old Paris Brunner, who has just recently started making moves courtesy of his rather impressive resume.
A German international at the youth level, the player himself is originally a member of Dortmund’s Under 17 group, but thanks to his elite levels he has recently been moved up to as far as the Under 19 level to play with the senior academy products.
Cut from a different cloth altogether, the 1.82m tall striker has not shown any signs of slowing down. At the Under 17 level, he had a ridiculous 25 goals in 26 games for his side, and now currently has added 3 goals in his first 10 games for the Under 19s. He also currently has accumulated a commendable 3 goals in 7 games in the UEFA Youth League.
Certainly, one to keep an eye on, it will indefinitely be interesting to see where and how far this pursuit of the talented youngster takes FC Barcelona and their quest to ensure future security and quality future stars.
