Now that the green light by La Liga has been approved and will soon also be made official, Barcelona can focus on exits while keeping in mind the arrivals they intend to bring in during the summer.

Consequently, the club has shortlisted players they would consider to be more feasible alternatives. SL Benfica’s Florentino Luis is one such name.
The report further indicates that despite having a release clause of €120 million and a contract with the Portuguese side until 2027, it is expected that SL Benfica would be willing to let go of the 23-year-old for €40 million.
The youngster has had a great season in the UEFA Champions League and is one of the breakout stars in the competition within the most recent iteration. His appearances and complimenting importance to his side at such a young age are reflective of his quality.
While Barcelona consider a stylistic replacement for Sergio Busquets to be practically impossible to recruit or even find, if the club does end up considering Florentino Luis despite the differing playing style, they would potentially be pursuing a future world star who could arrive for relatively less than several other options.
