FC Barcelona sent several players out on loan in the last summer transfer window, but the one on whom they would have been keeping a particularly close eye is the forward Ansu Fati.
There were a lot of hopes pinned on the Spaniard as he finally agreed to leave Barcelona on a loan in the Premier League, but unfortunately, he has not been able to regain the form that he showed in his early Blaugrana career, and thus his future remains highly uncertain.
As things stand, Brighton and Hove Albion do not want to retain the winger for another season, and Barcelona also do not have a place for him in the squad.
His stock is also not particularly high in the market, but according to SPORT, there are three teams in Spain that are interested in a loan, and his agent, Jorge Mendes is working on this operation.
The decision to join Brighton was a brave one from Fati, as Roberto de Zerbi led one of the most exciting projects in England, and it was hoped that he can help the La Masia graduate get back to his best.
However, Fati could not find his feet in the Premier League, and his physical problems cropped up once again when he was going through a good run of form.
Currently, he has a contract till 2027 with the Blaugranes, and has no intentions of giving up on this agreement. He accepted a loan last summer as he wanted to return to and succeed with Barcelona, but his entourage now understands that he cannot return to play at the Catalan club for the next season.
Barcelona are fully committed to Lamine Yamal to lead their attack in the future, and a possible transfer of Raphinha would also not help him as the Catalans will sign a replacement for him to play on the left wing.
In Spain, big clubs like Sevilla and Valencia are keeping an eye on the forward’s situation, but Barcelona know that they will have to pay a part of his wages because these clubs will commit only to a partial payment of his salary.
Mendes can also force a move to Wolverhampton Wanderers, but everyone believes that the best way forward for the 21-year-old Spanish forward would be to return to FC Barcelona.
