Barcelona have a few ways of getting back to the 1:1 rule – report

In order for Barcelona to return to their very best, the club needs to make certain amends. Already financially troubled, La Blaugrana have had to minimize their spending substantially in recent windows. However, to make life easy for themselves, Barcelona have to ensure that they can return to the 1:1 rule.

This particular rule would allow Barcelona to spend normally once again. However, while it sounds wonderful out loud, the truth is that Barça needs to make certain movements to make it a reality. One of those movements would entail bringing in more finances, and for that Barcelona has several options.

As per SPORT, to close in on the 1:1 rule as Joan Laporta suggests Barcelona is doing, the club must tend to some gaping problems. One of those gaping problems is to ensure that the year does not end with losses for La Blaugrana, something that the Catalan giants believe will be a guarantee for them.

Through their qualifications in the Champions League stages and additional income, Barcelona have had positive financial advancements this season. However, there is a secondary problem for the Catalans that is proving to be more than troublesome.

To address this second specific issue, the club needs to address the entire dilemma of the Barça Studios operation. Several payments that were expected for the involved sale have proven to be problematic and have not yet arrived. The €40 million from Libero remains invisible, and its arrival could fix a lot of issues.

Moreover, an additional payment of €60 million was also expected to arrive before June, and while there is still time for that to happen, progressions need to be made and guarantees need to be given. However, even with all this chaos and confusion, there is a positive cloud brewing on the horizon.

The case of Nike’s sponsorship seems to be taking a more joyous turn. When it comes to the terms of their kit sponsors, the American brand is now open to negotiating a more favorable deal for Barcelona, one that could include a substantial and significant €100 million premium as well in it.
