Even though there is still some time to the start of the next season, Barcelona are already a step ahead. The Catalan giants do not want to leave anything to the last moment, and are thus planning ahead. In this regard, Barcelona believe that their team must be settled before the new campaign begins.

Unfortunately for them, there is absolutely no guarantee as to which coach will lead the team next season. Xavi has already announced his decision to leave, and this leaves Barcelona in a vulnerable position. However, they at least have something in the name of stability moving forward.

As highlighted by SPORT, Barcelona already have a clear grasp on their future slots. For the upcoming 2024/2025 season, there are four graduates of La Masia who have already booked themselves a place in the first team. Through their immaculate performances this season, it is hard to argue against it as well.

The first, and most unsurprising, name on that list is that of Lamine Yamal. A record-breaker with both Barcelona and Spain, the 16-year-old has hardly let one slip him by. Judging him by his age is a severe misunderstanding of how good his quality and understanding of the game is. Already a regular starter, his place is already cemented as a Barcelona first-team member.

Next comes Pau Cubarsi, another undeniable addition to the first team for next season. Despite not having played as many minutes as Lamine Yamal, this 17-year-old defender has arguably been equally vital in his own unique way. His defensive strengths coupled with his passing expertise have made him a guarantee for Barcelona next season.

Up next comes the name of Hector Fort, a 17-year-old fullback who has broken through this season. Not a regular starter, but an important player for Xavi nonetheless. Whenever Barcelona have been in a pickle in terms of fullback dilemmas, he has shown himself to be capable of playing on either flank.

This versatility makes him a sure-shot member of the first team for next season with the possibility of possibly interchanging between the first team and Barcelona Atletic. Similarly, Marc Guiu is the final name on the list. The powerful striker is not at all an orthodox La Masia player, and is instead a bit of an anomaly.

However, being able to deliver in crucial moments is exactly his type of game. His presence has allowed Barcelona to have more firepower in the team, and he has proven himself to be a match-winner as well.

However, with Robert Lewandowski and others still contesting for the starting role as the team’s ace, he may have to be switched a lot between the first team and the subsidiary.
