The winter transfer window is approaching in one and a half months, but FC Barcelona would only have a little work to do in this transfer window. The Catalans were previously not too keen on bringing a reinforcement in January, and the economic situation of the club also does not allow for much market activity.

However, the team’s performances in the last few matches can force the club’s hand to take action in the winter window to ensure that Barcelona’s season is not derailed because of its thin squad.

The attacking line of the team is in particular need of reinforcement, and according to SPORT, President Joan Laporta and the economic area are trying everything in their power to get the required player in January.

Currently, the Catalans are hunting for new partners for Barca Studios, which will inject the needed capital into its coffers. A breakthrough is expected in this regard before 15th December.

If the club is able to obtain the required capital, the prevailing idea is to bring in Vitor Roque in January. Laporta and Deco both want Roque to arrive in the winter, not only because an investment has already been made in the player but also because they believe that Roque can significantly improve the team’s attack with his skills.

Vitor Roque himself is waiting to be registered on January 1st, and the Catalans had assured him that he will get a definitive signal by November 15th. However, the negotiations for Barca Studios are still complicated, and there is no assurance that Barcelona can register him as of now.

The coaching staff has also given its approval for the incorporation of Vitor Roque, and there is a clear need for an offensive reinforcement in the squad.

The need for a midfield pivot is also great, but the club is clearly betting on the arrival of Vitor Roque for the winter window. Meanwhile, there will be no departures from the roster in January, and none of the players is looking for an exit either.
