Barcelona keeping close tabs on young German forward - report

Yousouffa Moukoko is already at the center stage of the world and is one of the touted young strikers. Currently playing for Borussia Dortmund, the German youngster has started the season on a high. And it’s no surprise that Barcelona are looking to make a move for the youngster.

The teenager is currently with his national team in Qatar to participate in the World Cup. He is already a target for the European elites, and according to the latest reports from Diario Sport, Barcelona have also entered the race to acquire his services.

Being a childhood admirer of La Blaugrana, he would be happy to play at Camp Nou. Due to the very same reason, the hierarchy have decided to face the competition and possibly bid for the Borussia youngster.

He has enjoyed immense form this season, bagging 6 goals in 8 starts. His form has forced treble-winning coach Hansi Dieter Flick to take him along for the ongoing world cup campaign.

The footballer and his entourage have not yet made a definitive statement about his future yet. At this moment, there has been no agreement in any form with any of the clubs. Barcelona are really keen to bring him to Camp Nou as a long-term fix for the striker position. He has been a childhood admirer of the Catalan giants and if they make an appropriate offer, shall have a big advantage.

The biggest favorable factor is that his contract is expiring next summer. This is especially a key factor for Barcelona, who won’t be hindered by the FFP regulations since his arrival would be for free.

Considering his potential, he is easily worth a lot in today’s inflated transfer market, and a free transfer would be a no-brainer. Although, a high wage demand or bonus could be an issue that can hamper La Blaugrana’s chances of penning him down for the long term.
