Barcelona have been busy trying to secure their young prospects and now the Blaugrana have agreed a contract extension with teenage sensation Alejandro Balde.
Balde will sign a 5-year deal until 2027 with a €500 million release clause and the contract would be announced once Barcelona have finalized every detail with La Liga and the contract registered with them.
Balde was one of the least-earning players at the club but his new contract would see him earn more and his salary somewhere around that of the likes of Ronald Araujo.
Balde had attracted a host of clubs and with his contract expiring in 2024, Barcelona moved fast to present a contract renewal to the player’s agent Jorge Mendes and make sure the youngster stayed at Barcelona.
The Spanish international broke into the first team dynamics and has been seen as Jordi Alba’s replacement by many Barcelona faithful. His stellar performances have been the reason for Barcelona’s swift movement to renew him and it seems the youngster will be at Barcelona for another 5 years.
