Still, the player has continued with his impressive form that he showed in the South American U-20 championship earlier in the year, where he scored 5 goals, and was defeated only in the final to Brazil.
As Diaz continues with his amazing performances with his national side, he is also coming in increasing sights of Barcelona and other major European clubs. The player has already expressed his excitement on generating interest from FC Barcelona.
The Catalan club meanwhile is busy with preparations for one of its more hectic summer transfer windows in recent years. As a result, SPORT reports that a fresh approach has not been made for Diaz. However, this can change as the player continues to attract their attention, and as his current valuation of €6 million rises further.
