Among the players FC Barcelona sent on loan for various reasons last summer, Ez Abde has been the most promising and exciting. His performances over the last season at Osasuna have attracted the attention of several clubs across Europe.

Abde’s loan to Osasuna has been highly beneficial for the player, as he got the chance to appear in the starting eleven of the club week in and week out and got the opportunity to play at a club where the pressure is not as high as it is in Barcelona.

The player took the opportunity with both hands and showed the world glimpses of his skills and potential. Owing to these performances, his stock is in high demand for the upcoming summer transfer window.

Interest from various clubs across Europe in the youngster has already been reported. But, according to SPORT, a new club has started showing interest in Abde recently. This club is Bayer Leverkusen, which has shown impressive form in the German Bundesliga this season.

Managed by Xabi Alonso, the German club has been excellent in the second half of the season, as they got to the semi-finals of the Europa League and are currently sixth in the Bundesliga.

The report from SPORT indicates that the German club is expected to lose one of their main strikers, Moussa Diaby or Amine Adli, this summer, and they have identified Abde as an ideal candidate to play and grow at the club.

However, Abde will wait till Barcelona decide on whether they want to retain or sell the attacker in the next summer transfer window. His performances warrant a place for him at the Catalan club, but the club’s financial condition can force their hand into a sale.

Thus, with his amazing performances over the season, Abde has created a high demand for himself in the market, and an increasing number of clubs are looking to get the forward for the next season.
