FC Barcelona player and Moroccan International Abde Ezzalzouli, or Ez Abde for short, is currently plying his trade at CA Osasuna. The La Liga side took him on loan from FC Barcelona in the summer prior to the commencement of the 2022/2023 La Liga Santander campaign. As it stands, the move ended up being a dream deal for all parties involved, including the player.

The Moroccan has taken the reigns at Osasuna and made himself right at home within their system and under the tutelage of manager Jagoba Arrasate. The player has made 5 goal contributions throughout the La Liga campaign thus far this season. Moreover, 2 of his goals from those 5 contributions came just the other day as he singlehandedly got Osasuna the 3 points against Elche in a 2-1 victory at the El Sadar stadium.

The Blaugrana outfit would now be looking forward to having Abde back at the Catalan club once his loan duration ends alongside the culmination of the season. The Moroccan is also yet to play Real Madrid in the upcoming Copa Del Ray final, where potentially a good performance could see him elevate his already positive image and expected potential to whole new heights.

Abde himself hopes to make his name a much more prominent one this time around upon his expected return to Barcelona. The player’s continuation is at the very least expected to be with the first team until the end of the pre-season prior to the commencement of the official 2023/2024 season, in order for the club to grasp exactly where his current level lies.

Should the economic scenario persist in being in a negative position, the sale of Abde remains a topic of discussion in the future. Clubs in the English Premier League would look positively at the opportunity to acquire the Moroccan’s services, given that his particular style of play and skill set would resonate with that of the English League.

However, if any sales of wingers such as Ferran Torres, Ansu Fati, or even Raphinha manage to take place, Abde could very well end up being a long-term asset at the Catalan club.
