Abdessamad “Abde” Ezzalzouli, better known as Ez Abde, is one of the most promising talents bought by Barcelona in recent years. Currently, on loan at Osasuna, the player has keenly taken the opportunity to showcase his talent to the world of football while developing in a context that involves less pressure and more opportunities on the field than would have been possible at Camp Nou.
The Moroccan winger is still 21 years old but has been making some notable appearances for Osasuna, despite the club having a significant number of quality players among their ranks. A recent interview by Osasuna’s coach Jagoba Arrasate to Relevo showed some glimpses of how much Osasuna value the player, and how they plan to develop him for the future.
Regarding his style of play, the coach held that the player has a unique play style, and is best in 1v1 situations and in areas that are not densely marked by opposition players. However, he can be hot and cold between matches, but that is expected from any young player playing in top-level football.
In order to develop him further, the coach explained that his plan is to give him as much freedom on the pitch as possible, which will enhance his virtues, and allow him to express his talent fully on the pitch.
The player received a red card in his last match by accumulating two yellow cards. However, the club aims to appeal against the first yellow card, the result of which will be known by today. Still, Abde seems to have found a good team to develop in Osasuna, as he is getting plenty of opportunities to play, and has got the trust of his manager and teammates.
