FC Barcelona continue to develop and incorporate players from all across the world. La Blaugrana are no longer limited to counting on starlets only hailing from Spain, and have instead broadened their horizons. These promising youngsters that Barcelona look towards are seen as possible difference-makers in the future.

The arrival of players such as Vitor Roque paves the way for even more youngsters from other countries to follow. As such, Barcelona themselves have widened their scouting network and are willing to take risks beyond just Europe and South America.

A direct consequence of this has been the signing of a talented winger from Mali. Aged 17, Ibrahim Diarra is the latest addition to FC Barcelona and his incorporation is something that La Blaugrana look forward to. Even ahead of his official arrival, he came to the club and had a sort of testing period with the subsidiary sides.

Ultimately, the report provided by SPORT claims that he was quite impressive during this testing phase. In fact, he managed to impress Barcelona so much that the club is now looking to find alternative routes through which he can be incorporated into Barcelona in the upcoming summer.

Otherwise, Barça would have to wait until December of this year to eventually have Diarra join the team. This is because he is currently under 18 years of age, and being a non-European player there are rules in place that prohibit players from joining any European side before they hit that specific age mark of 18.

However, with the ability and quality that he possesses, the Catalan giants see him as a useful asset. For this reason, the sooner he manages to arrive at the Catalan club, the better it is for Barça and their future plans for the talented young winger.

Possessing great movement, speed, physical traits, and other brilliant qualities, Diarra is a special talent indeed. Even before this recent testing period with Barcelona, the African winger had been scouted by the club due to these immense qualities that he possessed and he has now shown them firsthand to the club as well.
