FC Barcelona is a club that looks to have all of its most important aspects covered and protected. That is because football is a game that is not just played on the field but also outside of it. To put that into context, even the managerial team at Barcelona is considered to be a crucial factor behind any successful team.

That is why the club is currently working on its technical team beyond just the players. While Barcelona certainly needs new signings on the pitch as well, while also navigating their way through deciphering which players can be sold too, a great priority has to be placed on revamping the coaching team as well.

Hansi Flick has already arrived as the new Barcelona head coach, a man known for his success with Bavarian giants Bayern Munich, but his team still needs some work. That is where Barcelona have already taken their next big step it seems, poaching a key member of another La Liga side’s technical team.

According to SPORT, Barcelona have already acquired the services of Francesc Marti, a key analyst for Real Betis and Manuel Pellegrini. He will now arrive at Barcelona after the Catalan club managed to give him a better offer than the one Betis were able to hand out to him.

Having been a part of the Andalusian team since 2020, prior to which he was a member of Villarreal, his arrival at Barcelona may be seen as a key introduction. He now becomes part of Flick’s new revamped team, one that has seen many of Xavi Hernandez’s staff be relieved of their duties.

However, there seems to be a clear dominance of German members as part of Hansi Flick’s team, and it makes sense. Toni Tapalovic, Heiko Westermann, and Marcus Sorg are the three heads currently part of Flick’s team at Barcelona. Francesc Marti will be the latest addition, and the club hopes his arrival as an analyst at Barça can really help them next season.
