One of the ways in which FC Barcelona are aiming to bolster their finances in the coming months is by selling some of their players who are not integral parts of the squad going into the next season.
Selling these players is highly important for the club to remain within the FFP confines of La Liga and register their new signings with the league authorities.
The club is considering proposals for a number of its players, and one player that the club is open to selling this summer is the Ivorian midfielder Franck Kessie. Unlike some other players, Kessie is still in high demand in big clubs across Europe, and has no shortage of suitors if he decides to move on from the Catalan club.
Among these clubs are the Italian sides Inter Milan and Juventus, while Tottenham have also reportedly been interested in the midfielder.
At this time, when there is a strong possibility of Kessie moving away from the club, the player has taken an action that has surprised fans of the Catalan club. According to SPORT, a video is doing the rounds on social media in which Kessie is wearing a Bayern Munich jersey.
In the video, the midfielder does not even make an effort to hide his face or his shirt or from getting recorded, and Kessie even greets the viewers by the end of the video. This is definitely a weird thing to do by the midfielder, as he is on the payroll of FC Barcelona, and is a part of the FC Barcelona squad.
This latest event has further muddied the already uncertain future of the midfielder at the Catalan club, and it remains to be seen whether this video is a precursor of further things to come or just a case of neglect on behalf of the Ivorian.
