As the current season has gone well into its second half, FC Barcelona have started preparing for the next season by planning for the summer business that they will be undertaking.

The Catalans have to find a replacement for Xavi Hernandez and sign a pivot as their top two priorities this summer, but other additions to the squad are also not ruled out, despite the financial problems being faced by the club.

One such addition can be made in the attacking areas, and according to SPORT, the Argentine forward, Paulo Dybala, has already been offered to Barcelona. The AS Roma player has a €12 million release clause for teams outside of Italy, and the Catalans are currently studying the option.

Dybala is currently not a priority target for Barcelona, but the Catalans still have him as an option going forward. His recent performances at Roma have increased his demand in the European market significantly, and he is generating interest from clubs across the continent.

However, despite his having offers even from the Premier League, his priority is to play in La Liga. In England, West Ham United have already made inquiries about him, while in Spain, Atletico Madrid have also been gathering reports regarding him.

Meanwhile, his move to Barcelona will have to overcome several roadblocks. For instance, the Catalans are looking for a left-footed player, and Dybala’s addition can also turn out to be incompatible with Joao Felix if the latter continues to play at Barcelona for the next season. The Catalans are also not entirely convinced with his performances in big matches.

Other than that, he can turn out to be an alluring option for Deco, especially as his salary at Roma is lower than what he was earning with Juventus, and his price is also affordable for Barcelona.

He had been linked with Barcelona in the past, but a move never materialized. However, the next few months will be decisive for him, as Roma are trying to get him to renew with a higher release clause, and the player is also open to considering this option. However, if the Barcelona route opens up, this will be the top priority for Dybala and his entourage.
