Barcelona open to transfer offers for three Spanish players

Barcelona players Ferran Torres, Hector Bellerin and Eric Garcia

While FC Barcelona have concluded some amazing transfer deals in recent transfer windows- Lewandowski’s arrival, Aubameyang’s signing, and sale, Jules Kounde’s signing, etc.- not all of their dealings have panned out as planned.

The case can be made for a number of transfers that did not turn out as expected, but three specific players recently bought by the club are being considered for sale in this transfer window as per the recent reports from SPORT. The names of these three players are given below.

Eric Garcia:

Eric Garcia was the first one to arrive, as he arrived at Camp Nou as a free agent from Manchester City in the Summer of 2021. The central defender has had his opportunities to impress with the Barcelona backline undergoing a complete transition, but he has failed to establish himself as a trusted starter, in is way low in the pecking order, with Ronald Araujo, Andreas Christensen, and Jules Kounde all currently above him.

Ferran Torres:

Ferran Torres also arrived from Manchester City, but cost the Catalan club significantly as they paid around €55million and promised €10 million in add-ons for Spaniard. He has also failed to establish himself in the starting line-up, despite Xavi giving him more than his share of opportunities, and the club is becoming increasingly pessimistic about him reaching his expected potential.

Hector Bellerin:

Bellerin also came as a free agent last season but was signed only as a stopgap player, with no long-term commitments. He has also been used sparingly by Xavi, and the club would be more than happy if an offer comes in for the Right Back.
