One of the few positions for which FC Barcelona do not have a natural and competent replacement is that of center-forward. Robert Lewandowski is the only natural striker in the team, and while Xavi has used Ferran Torres and Joao Felix in his stead, none of these two are natural center-forwards.

Barcelona have already signed Vitor Roque, who can arrive in the winter window, to support Lewandowski and get into shape gradually under the Pole’s tutelage. However, according to SPORT, Barcelona are also keeping an eye on several other highly rated strikers to not miss out on anything if a market opportunity arises.

The Catalans are monitoring the following players in this regard:

1: Victor Osimhen

Victor Osimhen is one of the most prominent players in this list, who has scored 65 goals and provided 15 assists in 111 appearances for Napoli. However, his valuation of €120 million makes him prohibitive for Barcelona.

2: Santiago Gimenez

Santiago Gimenez from Feyenoord is another popular option at Barcelona. The 22-year-old Mexican has scored 38 goals and given 6 assists in 57 games for his club, and his value lies between €30-40 million.

Jonathan David

David can be a realistic option for Barcelona as his contract runs out in 2025, and Lille will be looking to sell him if he does not agree to a renewal. Right now, he is valued at €50-60 million and has scored 62 goals and given 11 assists for Lille in 151 games.

Victor Boniface

Victor Boniface has been performing at a very high level under Xabi Alonso at Bayer Leverkusen and has already scored 10 goals and given 4 assists in 13 appearances. The 22-year-old’s contract runs out in 2028 and will cost around €30-40 million.

Youssoufa Moukoko

FC Barcelona’s technical office has good reports on the 18-year-old Borussia Dortmund striker, who has 14 goals and 8 assists in 79 games for the German club. His value lies within a range of €20-30 million.

Moise Kean

Kean’s contract also ends in 2025, and he will be another striker who can be sold if he does not agree a renewal with Juventus. The 23-year-old has 22 goals and 3 assists for Juventus in 110 games, and would cost around €15-18 million, as he is looking for a change of scenery.

Serhou Guirassy

The Stuttgart striker started the current season with a blazing hot form, as he has scored 14 goals in only 8 Bundesliga appearances. He is valued at €40 million, and his contract ends in 2026.

Anthony Martial

Martial is one of the players on this list whom Barcelona have been monitoring for some years. The 27-year-old has played 310 games with Manchester United, scoring 89 goals and giving 54 assists. His contract runs out in 2025.

Artem Dovbyk

The 26-year-old currently plays for Girona and has impressed Barcelona, particularly with his versatility. In 12 games, he has scored 5 goals and given 3 assists, and will cost around €15 million.

Mehdi Taremi

The 31-year-old Iranian striker has scored 83 goals for Porto and given 53 assists in 160 official matches. His contract ends in the coming summer but would currently cost the Catalans around €15-18 million.

Ollie Watkins

The 27-year-old English striker has a value of €50-55 million, and his contract ends in 2028. With Aston Villa, he has played 132 games, in which he has scored 52 goals and given 17 assists.

Evan Ferguson

The Irish striker has seen his value explode this season, as it currently stands at €65 million. The 19-year-old’s contract with Brighton and Hove Albion ends in 2028. He has scored 15 goals and given 4 assists for his club in 41 games.
