FC Barcelona continue to work towards recovering their sidelined players and improving their overall quality. However, such things are often easier said than done and also tend to take some time. Unfortunately for Barcelona, they also have a limited number of games in a season and they simply cannot afford to waste them.

As time passes, La Blaugrana welcome back more and more injured players. Simultaneously, however, it is also true that the Catalan giants have been losing players to injury as well this season. These recurring issues are definitely proving to be a bothersome obstacle, but it is one that the club simply has to deal with.

Not every news that is coming Barça’s way is negative, however, as some positive developments have reportedly taken place in the most recent training session conducted by Hansi Flick. As per SPORT, Barcelona are set to receive a great boost in the upcoming games across various competitions.

Firstly, Lamine Yamal completed a part of the group training session and his progression seems positive. As it stands, it is expected that the 17-year-old Barcelona sensation will be finally returning from his injury against Las Palmas in La Liga, although he will most likely start from the bench.

At last, Barcelona will likely be welcoming back their teenage sensation to the squad after having struggled without him in recent games. From the last two league games, La Blaugrana have won only one point, and it is now time for them to turn things around again.

Similarly, Ronald Araujo continues to show great progress in the training sessions as well. While his return will have to wait a while compared to that of Yamal’s, it is expected that the wait will not be much longer either as the Uruguayan defender looks to be nearing a return.

Two young faces also joined in on the latest training session, and the players involved were Andres Cuenca and Guille Fernandez. One of those two has already made his debut under Hansi Flick this season, while the other continues to wait for his big opportunity.
